What I didn’t do today
Thursday, January 20th, 2011 – It will be much more interesting to tell you what I didn’t do today. There is so much I didn’t do compare to what I actually did!For example:
I didn’t ride my bike along nature trails with a T-shirt in the sun, stopping at different spots to take some nice pictures. This is why the picture of the day today was taken out of the window. I didn’t even take my nose out today.
I didn’t walk along the board walk on the beach, looking at all those young guys and girls with their on the beach with their sleeping bags, sitting around the camp fire playing guitar, singing songs and discovering the secret of love. But I will. When I will be in Israel I will.
I will walk in my old home town, on the northern shore of the red see, watching the sunset painting the sea with bright red colors, bringing out all the small sail boats and surfers that stayed late to catch the last sun rays of the day.
When I will be there – I am sure you will have many more pictures and stories.
But today I am here. in KS. talking about the many things I didn’t do.
I started my day at 8:30am – a phone call from a customer woke me up. Went to sleep at 3:30am yesterday. Stayed on this chair until this very moment – 2:30am – trying to catch up as much as I can. At the time I write this blog the snow is over 5 inches deep. Feel bad for those who need to drive to work tomorrow morning.
Exhausted and anxious to get to the trip, and get out of here!
Wish y’all a great day! Thanks for stopping by
Bummer for having so much snow!! But a very creative post!!! Will miss them while you are gone!! Also, loved what Patti did with chicken for your Tuesday night dinner! She also is creative!! We are to get your cold front today and will have very cold for the next few days. I don't plan on leaving the house for about 4 days. No snow with ours though. Do you leave on Sunday? Hope you get to sleep late!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Serena. The chicken was amazing! Got to sleep till 11:00am this morning, after going to bed again after 3:00am. We are leaving on the 25 - next Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteMy sympathies. I was out yesterday shoveling and tamping down the snow as we also got about a half inch of rain on top of the snow. Forecast is for plunging temperatures, culminating with a low of -13°F. on Monday morning. Makes this morning's 17° seem downright balmy.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll be thinking of you strolling the strand along the Red Sea. Have a great time.
