The countdown begins

This is going to be a short and sweet one. Not because I have nothing to say, but because we are in a marathon to get everything done

Sunday, January 23rd, 2011 – So let’s see what we got to do. Already had too many phone calls with my customers, all worried that I won’t be available. See, my week starts at Sunday night, because Australia is 17 hours ahead, and on Sunday 4:00pm they are already in the office Monday morning! So got the get some stuff done before I go, to ease their mind.
We still have yet to pack and get the RV ready to move. Then tomorrow morning we need to unhook all the space hoses and connectors from the shore, disconnect the big propane tank and put the propane hose back in place, and then drive to this shop where they are going to fix the RV.
We are actually going to stay there overnight so that we can get up and go Tuesday morning. We need to get Diva into boarding place after giving her shots, and get some last gifts that we forgot. In the time that is left – we will probably do some last errands and make sure we got everything we need.
We are landing in Israel on Wednesday morning (Israel time), and need to rent a car and drive 5 hours to Eilat. – the southern tip of Israel. That is going to be tough after 17 hours trip (2 flights and a layover). We will probably get to Eilat late afternoon and after visiting with my parents we will fall dead.
So that’s the plan, and I will update you as we go with lotsa pictures, so stay tuned and keep visiting!!
Oh – there is one thing I wanted to tell you about (maybe you already know about it). There is a feature in Facebook called Facebook places. You can publish from your phone where you are and see who else from your friend is around. I thought it would be so cool if we will happen to be in the same area and get notified. Wouldn’t it be nice? so we can actually meet face to face? Take a look at it. From your mobile phone (iPhone., Android, ..) go to touch.Facebook.com This is not a scam – this is a real Facebook built-in feature.
And last… I didn’t take any pictures today, but I don’t like posts without any photos. To dry… so here are couple of pics from inside the RV. It will get better soon. Promise!
